Sarah’s career spans over two decades in New Zealand, Scotland and Australia working in community care, acute and subacute rehabilitation settings, bringing a wealth of clinical knowledge! Sarah specialises in acquired brain injury, stroke, neurodegenerative conditions and swallowing disorders, backed by her published research in the field of dysphagia.
Sarah has led allied health teams with passion and dedication. She is deeply committed to fostering an environment of clinical excellence, supporting the growth of her team and creating a culture of respect, fun and autonomy.

Bec is a passionate reader and avid traveller. Bec’s great loves are her family and exploring the world! With experience working in universities, private clinics and community based settings, Bec brings with her a wealth of clinician knowledge and experience to her role as a speech pathologist! Bec has spent much of her career supporting children in the home and school environments, believing in a naturalistic approach to therapy. Bec specialises in Language & Literacy, School Readiness and Paediatric participants.
Bec can speak basic conversational Malay and Tamil.

Vanessa is a compassionate speech therapist who specialises in working with adult participants. She has extensive experience supporting individuals recovering from strokes and traumatic brain injuries, as well as those living with progressive neurological conditions. Her expertise also includes helping adults with dysphagia, ensuring they regain confidence and safety with eating and swallowing.
Known for her warm and approachable demeanor, Vanessa takes a patient-centered approach, tailoring each therapy session to meet participants unique needs and goals. Outside of work, she’s happiest exploring the outdoors on hiking trails or discovering the best coffee spots in town!

Thanh has a passion for supporting people across all ages, with a particular interest in neurological disorders that affect swallowing and communication. He loves drawing on his personal skills and experiences in therapy, and especially enjoys connecting with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as male participants. In his free time, Thanh expresses their creativity through art—both in drawing and in street dance. He looks forward to empowering each person he works with to communicate confidently and live life to the fullest!

Vivienne has a passion for supporting people across the lifespan and loves using shared interests, like music, movies/TV shows and sport and to build meaningful connections with clients. Her areas of interest include swallowing and communication (dysphagia, voice, fluency, speech and language). Vivienne values evidence-based, client-centred care that empowers people to feel heard, supported and empowered to achieve their goals. In my spare time you can find me at the beach, op shopping or playing sport.

Caroline is a graduate speech pathologist supporting individuals across the lifespan with communication and swallowing challenges, especially neurological differences. She values getting to know her clients and supporting goals that matter to them. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her training for her next triathlon.

Amelia graduated from the University of Queensland and is passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and speech and language difficulties across various settings.
Amelia values evidence-based, client-centered care and aims to create a fun and engaging learning environment where participants and families feel empowered to achieve their communication goals. Amelia engages participants thought the power of play: moving around, playing games, building with toys and solving puzzles!








Competing in Jiu jitsu, Tom lives and breathes martial arts! Tom brings a balanced approach to physiotherapy. He focuses on treating headaches, neck and jaw issues, neurological conditions, stroke rehab and arthritis. Tom’s experience in martial arts inform his holistic view of health, offering participants a comprehensive approach to their well-being.

John, Company Director and Physiotherapist, is a tennis enthusiast and enjoys cold plunges. John’s energy and passion for sports extend into creating a vibrant and happy team environment. There is never a dull moment when John is around. He believes in the power of a positive workplace and actively contributes to maintaining a culture where every team member feels valued and motivated.
John can speak basic conversational Arabic.

Aiden, who is both a Company Director and a Physiotherapist, has a love for woodwork and is known as ‘The Office Handyman’. Beyond his clinical practice, Aiden plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring that the team operates in a supportive and collaborative environment. His leadership and hands-on approach make Amend Rehab not just a place of healing for participants, but also a nurturing space for the team!

Jen, a culinary enthusiast with a passion for home DIY projects and her puppy Max, is the backbone of our operations and admin team. She excels in system operations, business development, and establishing effective protocols and procedures. Jen’s organisational skills and attention to detail ensure smooth internal operations, supporting our team in providing the best care and service.

Harriet, with her love for reading, attending live music events, and appreciating art, brings creativity and energy to our marketing and admin sector. Her areas of expertise include innovative marketing strategies, engaging content creation, and effective social media management. Harriet’s artistic sensibilities and communication skills play a crucial role in connecting our services with the community and sharing our stories.
